2017 Certified Positive Planner: Review and Giveaway!

January 10, 2017

Let’s face it. Almost everyone thought 2016 was a nightmare after all the deaths and bad news we kept on reading from one post to another. Now, how was I able to keep a happy mood despite all those? Simply because I rest my faith on such a Firm Foundation and I value my relationship with God that I became calm through my daily devotions. My 2016 Certified Positive Planner was the very best companion for my devotions throughout last year. For this year, the same excitement goes with my 2017 Certified Positive Planner.

Seeing the Certified Positive (CP) announce their new products late last year became really exciting for me. One of the newest in the CP line are these awesome Bible Tabs which are worth P100 per New Testament pack and P125 per Old Testament pack. It includes all the books on their designated testaments and include one extra blank tab

Bible Tabs

Back-to-school Old and New Testament Bible Tabs feature numbers, bags, and other school-related doodles, perfect for students who want to use these tabs in their Bibles.

2017 Certified Positive Planner

Now we come to my favorite part!!! This will be my third CP Planner and I can really attest to how the Lord has been using this awesome planner for my daily devotions. You can read the reviews I made for the 2015 and 2016 versions here and here respectively.

Cover

When I saw the teasers being uploaded by the CP Team, I was so stoked because the color of the cover is back to green and I fell in love with the design! The pages and the cover are now rounded and it comes with a garter band to keep the planner bound and together. This means lesser chance of crumpled pages when you just stuff it in your bag whenever going somewhere. When you open the planner, you’ll see a beautiful graphic image of John 15:5.

    Bible verse for 2017.
    2 Corinthians 4:16-18
16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. 17 For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. 18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

Before I give you my 2017 Bible verses (Yes, Hindi Lang isa!) I wanna share with you a Hebrew Prayer which I always pray to spice up my life. Here it goes:
BARAKHI NAFSHI ET ADONAI, V’KHOL KERAVAI ET SHEM, KODSHO. VE’ATTA KIVITTI ADONAI, TOCHALTI LEKHA HI. BETACH EL ADONAI, BEKHOL LIBEKHA AL TISHAEIN. REFA’EINNI ADONAI VE’EI RAFEI HOSHIE’EINI VEIV VA SHEI’AH.

And here is the meaning 🙂
    1. BARAKHI NAFSHI ET ADONAI, V’KHOL KERAVAI ET SHEM, KODSHO.
“Bless the Lord, o my soul, and all that is within me. Bless His Holy name.” -Psalm 103:1

Like David before anything, He will give praise to God, which should we always do in our everyday life.

    2. VE’ATTA KIVITTI ADONAI, TOCHALTI LEKHA HI.
“But now Lord, what do I look for? My hope is in you.” -PSALM 39:7

We all have trials here on earth, but do not worry because God is our source of hope. We will went over His trials just have faith in God.

    3. BETACH EL ADONAI, BEKHOL LIBEKHA AL TISHAEIN.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not unto thy own understanding.” -Proverbs 3:5

This is one of my favorite especially when we are undergoing different kinds of trials in our life. Kailangan Natin manalig sa Panginoon kahit na Hindi natin maintindihan Kung bakit nangyayari ang mga pagsubok sa ating buhay. 🙂

    4. REFA’EINNI ADONAI VE’EI RAFEI HOSHIE’EINI VEIV VA SHEI’AH.
“Heal me O Lord and I shall be healed. Saved me and I shall be saved for you are my God, worthy of my praise.” -Jeremiah 17:14

This verse for strengthening of our wisdom and faith. We shall be saved but we also have to ask for guidance thru our God.

So I think, that’s it. Pasensya na Kung mahaba. 🙂

No words can express how much I praise Him for all His goodness, grace, mercy and overwhelming love He has shown into my life during 2016. I was so much grateful for having Certified Positive Planner 2016 as my partner in recording and writing all those memories and be able to recall and remember God’s faithfulness in my life. Now, I am so excited to experience Him even more this year and hoping that along this journey, Certified Positive Planner 2017 is still with me! It would be really amazing and exciting!

I thank the Lord for using Christ-Committed Fellowship (CCF) for cultivating my heart to love my parents —something that was once awkward and difficult for me to do until I joined INTERCEDE 2017: “Pray for Family” of CCF. My Bible verse for this year is Joshua 1:8. “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.”

I “stumbled upon” this verse during our prayer and fasting. The theme of the prayer and fasting was “Knowing God.” I wanted so bad to hear God’s voice, to hear a Word from Him, to know what He wants me to do. After praying hard and asking Him for a sign and waiting on Him, I heard nothing but silence. I open the Bible at a random page and the verse I saw didn’t make sense at all. I was disappointed and ready to give up but decided to give it another shot. I opened my phone’s Bible app and saw that the verse of the day was Joshua 1:8. I cried while reading it. I knew then that it was God speaking to me, telling me that I may not be able to hear Him audibly right now but I can get to know Him by meditating on His Words, the Bible. That gave me so much comfort and encouragement.
