Nichole and I went to Pinto Art Museum for his birthday two months ago. It honestly felt like mine because I’ve been bugging him for months already about going there. So when we had the chance to actually cross this off from our list, we grabbed it.
I’ve been wanting to go to some place new for the past few days of 2015, and just the other day, Eekol and I went to Art in Island!
Art in Island is a Korean-owned 3D art museum with the sole purpose of letting people interact with what’s in the gallery. Typical art museums won’t even allow you to take pictures of the pieces inside. But in Art in Island, they encourage you to BE PART OF ART. Aside from that, Art in Island is the biggest 3D art museum in Asia (to date!).
I’ve been very vocal in my previous posts that I’m not really artsy-fartsy and I don’t know a lot of things about art, but this place is just wonderful. I just couldn’t stop gushing about how lovely that artwork is, or how wittily they painted that one, and on and on and on.
I was browsing through my files on my laptop when I saw these pictures again. It made me miss Bituon Beach Resort a lot. We usually go there for Holy Week with our relatives and stay for 2-3 days or so since they have rooms for people who would like to stay there for a couple of days or weeks. Aside from enjoying the beach, it has been a habit of ours to collect shells from the seashore during late afternoons.
