Funny how time flies so fast. It was just the start of 2014, and now it’s almost 2015. I’m sure you guys have a long list of things to be thankful for, and things that you want to forget. But what’s good about every year is that we are always given the chance to start fresh and anew, and put away all the things that hurt us and never really benefited us. It’s time to know our priorities and firmly decide on how we plan to start and spend our 2015. And that, my friends, is where the Certified Positive Planner comes in ~
Aside from the fact that it helps people get organized in fixing their schedules and to-do lists, it does one other thing which I believe is the most important: it is an instrument used by God to bring you closer to Him. Now how can that be when it’s just a planner? Let me show you the unique, inspiring, and very motivating features of the Certified Positive Planner.
Almost all of the pages contain Bible Verses that could serve as a way of encouragement especially to a person like me who works five days a week. I can testify, and I am fully aware that others can too, that when you’re too drained by work or you get sad, or you just need encouragement, there will always be a Bible Verse for that. Tried and tested! 🙂
Daily Verse Tracker
What I love most about this planner, is that it encourages us to read the Bible in one year! Isn’t that pretty exciting? There’s a space to cross out chapters or books we’ve already read as the days and months pass by.
Bills Payment Tracker
Ever since I started working, I became very conscious of how I manage my expenses. I believe this feature will be very useful in managing my bills for the year 2015.
Spiritual Goals and Quiet Time
What better way to start the year than to note what are the important things you need to work on with your spiritual life? Most of the time, we get too caught up with work and school that we sometimes neglect God in our life, forgetting that without Him, we are nothing and everything will be in vain. This feature gives us the opportunity to evaluate ourselves and list down concrete things we would like to achieve in the spiritual aspect of our life for the year 2015. The Quiet Time space is for us to write down whatever we want to bring to the Lord in prayer for the whole year.
It’s nice to lay out all the goals you want each year. I remember reading (somewhere, because I honestly can’t remember where, if it’s from you or a page or book you know, please tell me so I can give you credit!!!) that there’s a higher possibility to achieve or have something when we write them down. This page may serve as both a motivation and reminder of what we want to achieve not only for 2015, but also for the next five years to come!
The moment I saw these stickers, I wanted to immediately remove them from the pages and stick it anywhere, but I guess these stickers deserve a special place and time. 🙂
Spaces for scribbling, doodling, and random what-nots!
Motivational and Greeting Cards
Random and special occasion greeting cards you can hand out to people you want to cheer up. You’ll never know when the Lord might be actually using to carry His message to someone in your life.
So that’s for the first few (and last) pages of this wonderful planner. Now let me show you what’s in store for you for the monthly and daily pages.
Twelve testimonies from famous personalities in different industries are included, one for each month, sharing how the Lord how they met Him and how graciously and faithfully He worked in their lives. These personalities include Miriam Quiambao-Roberto, Wendy Valdez, Rosebud Benitez-Velasco and others.
“What the Bible Says About…” + Monthly Goals
At the first page of the month, supporting verses on what the Bible says about 12 different topics are included. These verses could really be helpful in reminding us what God says about certain aspects of our lives. Monthly goals covering health, ministry, personal, and others are also included to remind us what we want and we are to achieve each month, in specific parts of our lives..
Monthly Budget and Daily Expense Tracker
Finally! A detailed way to handle my expenses each month. Someone I know will very happy about this. LOL.
The wide monthly view gives us the space to write important events that would happen in each month.
The Daily/Weekly View includes Top Priorities of this week, daily positivity in the form of different quotes each day, and a Pos-TWEET-ive Act at the end or start of the week (whichever you prefer) wherein the planner users are asked to post a Bible Verse on Twitter and tag a friend. I most certainly think this is an effective way of sharing God’s Word through Twitter! *happy happy joy joy*
Basically, the month-end Reflections are the same for each month and we are asked to evaluate how our month went and what things we need to surrender to God not only to unload our burdens, but also to start the next month freshly and with spiritual strength renewed. I think this is very vital, especially for students and young professionals who deal with stress and deadlines every month! A prayer space is also available for us to write down whatever we want to tell God at the end of the month.
Aside from the features in the above photos, there are also others I wasn’t able to include: Salvation Guide, How to Maximize Your Planner, Organizations that people can support, How To Use the Daily Verse Tracker, and Emergency Information.
I can’t wait for this planner to be used by God to strengthen me and remind me that the only vital thing in this and the next life is Him. Let me share five Bible Verses that are actually related to you probably having the interest of owning a Certified Positive Planner this year:
- “Let all things be done decently and in order.” 1 Corinthians 14:40
- “Commit your way to the Lord, trust in Him, and He will act.” Psalm 37:5
- “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you.” Matthew 6:33
- “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make straight your paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6
- “So teach us to number our days, that we may present to You a heart of wisdom.” Psalm 90:12
I almost forgot how you can avail of this lovely planner! You can directly order from their website, or you can look for shops that offer them.
