The Monday Grace Vol. 21

March 7, 2016

A link-up with Kisty’s Thankful Mondays, The Monday Grace basically aims to alleviate all that negative vibes and help in spreading good ones! These are things that I feel thankful for on the most dreaded day of the week.

I noticed that I unconsciously made this series a monthly thing. And I think I have to keep it that way to pave the time and way for more important things. Well, without further ado, here are some of the things I feel really thankful for the past couple of weeks.

  1. A RAK (Random Act of Kindness) was sent my way from one of my fellow bloggers. I’m not sure if she’d like me to mention her but I’m really thankful for her generosity!
  2. Most of my favorite TV shows have already returned from their mid-season break. Ah. I need more time to catch up on everything!
  3. The second planner meet-up with my fellow planner sisters from the east was a success! I really enjoyed it. It’s nice to be with people who share the passion for what you love.
  4. I started journaling again. I wanted to practice my handwriting, using a fountain pen, and just take note of whatever happened on a certain day.
  5. I’m waiting for the result of something and I’m praying hard about it. I don’t want to talk about it yet but I will as soon as I become sure of it!
  6. I won a giveaway I totally forgot I joined! LOL. This panda clear stamp set is just so cuuute!
  7. Twelve days until I get to watch Les Miserables!
  8. Being consistent with my morning devotion. I haven’t missed a day since this year started and I hope I can keep this up until the last day of the year.
  9. My favorite band is becoming more and more active on social media. I love that a lot of their fans back then are appreciating them more now.
  10. Everyday, I get the chance to have a deeper understanding of what it means to grow up (not only grow old). There is a big difference between the two and I’m of myself for not being too proud to admit I make mistakes along the way and that I learn from it.

How’s March’s first Monday treating you?

#10 is a lesson to learn over and over as we adult. All we wanted when we were kids was to grow up but for the most part, all we ever do is grow old. 🙂 Have a good week, Rej!

Yes, Dani! I find it hard to believe sometimes. But I’m thankful I’ve changed a lot.

That’s great to hear that you found planner and journaling friends in real life to share the burning passion, hehehe. Since I am curious what happens in this kind of get togethers, I hope you write about it sometime.

Oh, thanks for the reminder about US TV shows coming out from hiatus. I remember just catching up on AHS the other day.. I thought the finale was the episode that aired last December, but I was wrong lol. Will catch up on Gotham now. 😀 Mindy Project still not back yet though, huhu.

Yes! I already drafted the post of our first meetup in my thepaperjunkie blog. I have to draft another post for the most recent one. Gotham’s episode after the break is a bit “crazy” haha. And oh, is Mindy Project a good show? I have a copy of the first season but I haven’t started watching it yet.

Hmm.. The Mindy Project takes time to warm up to and really like the show, in my opinion. 🙂 Nasimulan ko na kasi eh (but I didn’t watch from Season 1) kaya sinubaybayan ko na tapos it’s still entertaining pa rin naman. I quit watching The Flash though, it’s gotten boring for me.

How does it feel to win giveaways?!! I never ever get picked! HUHUHU! I’m so unlucky when it comes to things like that. haha. I really want to start journaling but my handwriting discourages me. ANG PANGIT PANGIT!!!

Very nice. Huhuhu. I don’t always get picked though! That’s why I really am grateful whenever I win! Uy, Ate Corinth. Haha. You should see my handwriting and my attempt to use a fountain pen. My handwriting’s a joke! Haha. That’s why I rly have to practice it.

Congrats on winning a giveaway! I’ve never won, but I have a friend who won twice! Haha can I have some of her luck please?

    • Reply Rej Relova March 22, 2016 at 5:02 pm

I actually don’t win the giveaways I really want to win! I end up winning stuff I don’t really expect. LOL.
